Long term ill health means I haven't been able to ride for quite some time now, so I thought why just have it hanging in the 'cave' not doing anything - better to let someone else make use of and ride it.

Yep - sold the frame to a chap who was building it for his young daughter
I bought my first one back in about 1998 ish (iirc) whilst on hol in Canada!...v brake only, sold a while back, but have had/built a couple since that one. As you say, great bikes
