These are 99 boxxers, there was only 1 model back then. The red crowns were only around in 99, the decals that are destroyed should say 151 on them, denoting travel.

The 98's had a removable brace ala the early judys and would have had studs for v brakes and grey/ almost polished crowns

'original' production boxxers didn't have a removable brace (DHOs did, but they were only 4"). crown info is correct though... 98 and 99 ones had removable v-brake mounts which bolt into the hole you can see in the pictures. I've got a set of the mounts at home if anyone wants them

Also 98s have a funny disc mount - think it's almost IS but offset to one side or something :roll: not sure about the 99 '151s' It's quite easy to get old hope callipers to fit (with the right number calliper half) and I'm sure others are available...
