The best way to tell the difference is by looking at the bottom, the Kalloy ones are round whilst the Nitto ones are oval with more material front and rear of the tube. Useful if the ‘Nitto’ stamp has been cut off

Allow myself to correct myself: the ‘Force directional’ post by Nitto is oval internally (same as a Nitto 262 post), your standard Nitto made Ritchey post ain’t, nor is the WCS (I think?) its just thinner. In which case the easiest way to tell the difference between the Kalloy and the Nitto is the sharpness of the head part where the cradle rests - same design but more rounded with the Kalloy version.

And so I’m not dragging this wildly off course, the rather bashed about Ritchey labelled post is a 27.0 Bim, and available if you can live with the patina.
