Retro mod... Offroad Master

There are some good threads on here ref stripping paint off frames and whats best to use.

As for seatpost size, they usually go up .2 at a time so quite a few sizes inbetween. You could take it to your LBS and they will tell you straight away or trial and error im afraid.

I actually just got it all off with a putty knife. In total maybe five hours of stripping and reapply then scrape etc... anyhow nice looking welds, no boogers

Tiny update... we’re slowly painting it in Kryptek camo pattern. Flo. Yellow, 56 chevy baby blue, ww2 green, and a little flat black & desert tan. It’s an insane pain of multi layer vinyl stencils. It’s a school project for my son.

It’s a funky mix of layers of colors, that darker area is the ww2 dark green (looks black in photo). I’m just layering clear on the forks. The frame is almost done, than clear and graphics

As a tribute to the long vacation from school... my son renamed the offroad master.... to a pandemic covid 19..

Still in the works on details
