Much appreciate the comments.. Def wont be getting it too dirted up! Will save the lil Klein for that !! Im not sure how much patience ill have each time for the Brasso work ???

As an experienced zaskar polisher since 1993, DONT ride that in the winter, it'll fur up quicker than you can say 'flange'.


If the forks are magnesium, they need about ten coats of good quality laquer with about an hour on the radiator (if doing at home) for them to stop furring up in front of your very eyes on a salty winters day.

what lacquer do you recommend that wont shrivel up the decals?

Normal Halfords worked ok but then I used to put the decals on afterwards
