Can you replace an air rear shock with elastomers? Is there some type of adapter so you could use elastomers like a pro flex?

Would be better as it would be lighter and easier maintenance

Would appreciate any info…

If you can make your own bolt setup then yes. You could find a cheap spring setup and replace the spring for a bit of foam. Lighter, who knows, the rods are often quite heavy to stop them bending as they don't have the can to work with.

But it'll be shite.

A lot of the Air setups are fit and a bit of air/wipe clean when needed.

P. S. I'm all for it, would love to see what you can come up with.

Cheers, was thinking like on a mountain cycle San Andreas, they have elastomer rear suspension?
