Yeah, that why I always opt for the slack chain in small/small after finding out what getting locked in big/big is like, never snapped a chain because of it.
You can still ride it... just in small/small and soon change out of it.

I could do with a little advice on this sort of thing myself.
I have a M950/2 short cage. Running XC duos up front (29/42) and 11-32 XTR cass on the rear. I set my chain length by going bib-big and adding a link.
When Im in the 29 - 32 gear the upper jockey wheel touches the 32t. So I get a king of vibrating buzzing sound and it doest run smooth. I tried adjusting the B tension to pull the jockey wheel away from the 32 but it makes no difference.
Any ideas how to remedy this?
