There is a local MTB trials place near me which is called 'Sherwood Pines'
and its brilliant for the MTBer and has special courses set up for
this sport but someone is going around hiding lumps of wood in
the ground and has six inch nails in a X shape to puncture tyres
and this idiot is also wiring up trees too in a quest to either seroiusly
injure a biker or decapitate the cyclist!!! There has been at least
thirty wires which have been spotted.
The lumps of wood was first discovered by a walker when his pet
dog lep't into the air and was screaming out, the poor dog had a
six inch nail go straight through its paw. The wood was six feet long
and had carefully drilled holes each nail had been grinded down into
fine long points, several was found in one day.
Police believe it is a walker/hiker who has had a run it with a biker
and decided to take into his own law and get his own back.
