.....what I don't get is the general hostility against Klein. They are great bikes and even though other people might have other preferences it should not keep them from acknowledging the quality of Klein bikes.

Those who don't have, hate. Offer your Attitude to somebody gratis and see if they turn it down because "they just don't like Kleins". It would never happen.

Lots of rich old dudes bought Kleins in the day so there are many around with very low miles. I would wager that Porsche and Ferrari owners deal with the same foolishness about their cars. "That 911 is just some overpaid brain surgeon's wet dream. The bastard probably couldn't see an apex if it was pointed at his nose." None of that detracts from the fact that a 911 is a mighty fine car, and the same holds true for most Kleins.

I wouldn't pay $2KUS for a Dolomite Attitude, but I wouldn't kick it out of my bed for eating crackers either.
