A nice old Fisher Montare Tange steel 26'er - a rare E-stay MTB that climbs like a mountain goat (the animal not the bike), due to the short chainstays.
19" approx. Deore DX/XT mix all components clean and tidy but not mint. frame itself has been repainted over the years to keep it presentble and rust-free - but always sympathetically leaving some of the original decals showing through to validate its authentic, frame number visible too. gunmetal Icon alloy bars Mechanically - all I can fault it on is the front shift lever STI unit is a bit lazy and doesn't always engage, and that it. Good brakes, headset serviced and well setup.
pressed-in Fisher BB bearings replaced this year with correct sealed items - making the entire bike mechanically sound.
Completed straight, dent-free and damage-free - these were tough Tange DB cro-mo f&f's and this bike is a great survivor.
Enjoy it as it is - or would make a terrific bare-metal restoration if you like your MTB's perfect again.
PX options - looking for SINGLE ball hitch cycle carrier, Farm quad/ATV, large roof box for roof tent - I can collect nationwide if PX'ing with cash your way.
