I am offering for sale a new old stock Raleigh Sports framset which I bought a few years ago and built it up into a complete bike but despite a lot of advertising it did not sell so have now split it for parts. It is from 1950 and still has the original label from a bike shop in Southampton, the paint on the frame is original and has a few scratches the worst one being on the top tube, the forks were badly scratched and have been powder coated.
The steering lock works and has two keys and all threads are good.
It is the following dimensions.
21" seatpost tube
21.5" top tube
5" steering tube
The mudguards were also bought new and powder coated, the finish is ok but there appears to be some overspray on the rear if you look closely.
They can be collected from near Axminster or I can post for £17 with Parcelforce, pm me for more details if you are interested.
