Wow that is a great effort. I'll forgive the newer wheels, I like that you debadged them. However I honestly think that the tan parts (saddle, tape and tyres) don't compliment it as well as the original set up. I'd have to swap it out for black and gumwalls....

Great job on the restore. If it were mine, I'd change the seat post and use different wheels. IMO the " safety levers " gotta go, but very minor nits. Well done.

I have recently purchased a 1983 RRS for refurbishment and wondered if you still had a copy of the decals you could scan for me. Mine has none as the frame has been resprayed at some point. It does have all the 'gold' and I want to try and restore is as good as yours.
