There may be some things you could do before buying more levers....

1) Try moving the levers further down the bars closer to the apex of the curve

2) Try a high compression outer cable

3) You do realize that a fixed wheel bike does not require a rear brake, in fact it may be detrimental

It is the front brake that is the problem. If i move the lever further down the bars it will be too far down to comfortably use it.
