Raleigh Dyna Tech appreciation and information thread

Does Any one know of any other Dynatech Decade or Dynatech Endeavour owners anywhere?
As here’s some rarity for you guys - Boy”O”Boy’s Dynatech Endeavour is The ONLY one of its kind in known existence. Likewise Raumer’s Dynatech Decade is The ONLY one of its kind in known existence!
According to Steve Perkins (long time product design manager for Raleigh SPD/RSP only a handful - were ever made and sold - and mainly used to attract customers in 5 star dealers who were then sold lesser models).
Think about it - These two models are rarer than John Tomac’s race bikes! Rarer than most bikes you come across on Retrobike. And now well taken care of by their owners!

Here are some photos from the MBI April 1993 edition where the tested the Decade very favourably. Timely given Ibbz’s comments above is the last paragraph “...Raleigh is making just 50 of these beauts”

I believe 50 were made but not sold - I wouldn’t be surprised if the unsold were re badged and sprayed as MT5 frames. This is what happened with the Endeavour (unsold were re-sprayed and badged as yellow Team frames for racing.
My Campag/Sachs one weighed about 24 lbs - Raumer’s exotic one weighs around 19 lbs!

No problem Ibbz. Consider it your reward for directing me to this fantastic thread, which is in a similar vein and excellence to Miss Money Penny’s “Bring out your Bontrager”
Finding that article on the Decade made a fibber out of me when I said that I’d never really been interested in Raleighs when I posted pics of my Team Titanium a few days ago. In fact I now distinctly remember lusting after the Decade on the basis of this report. What is not to like? British Petroleum developed raw material, Raleigh bonding technology, titanium Trimnel forks, no nonsense full XTR and Bontrager rims and, to top it off, the distinctive and and the same time classy “Raspberry Crush” paint. Just look at that profile; it’s stance and proportions are just perfect!
In fact Ed has kindly given me first refusal if he ever sells his. But we both have the feeling this won’t be for some time...

The problem with frames like this and with Boy O Boy’s endeavour - once built and once you know that there’s likely only this one in existence - you’ll be less likely to want to risk riding it!
I had entered the Campy Sachs one I built to BoTm but had to remove it as the bike’s been sold. I am hoping Ed can give it an entry at some point - or if he sells it - You!
I today received a 2000 Raleigh RSP yellow Ti race frame - I’ll be building that up into a disk brake bike with rigid forks. Cant think of what components to use - I keep going back to art-bikes on eBay and wanting some boutique Italian Parts! I’ll have to start with a headset, stem and forks and then go from there.

What a great read really enjoyed the past few posts on the awesome decade dynatech just makes you wonder how many of those frames are out there in different guises mt5’s and maybe other models to ? Is there specific frame numbers or any other way of knowing if the frame is Mmc tubed
