Re: Raleigh 653 Castorama Replica (Finished 20th May P5)

Glad to see you have the braking the correct way round, right for the front.

I prefer the left for the front as i am a bit heavy handed with my right hand and i've had a few unwanted moments in the past ..

Re:

Thanks guys, had a lock in at the lbs last night so the back wheel is all sorted. Avocet is fitted so it's ready for its madden voyage. Just waiting on the weather.

Brake are this way round as this is how I always have them. They were reversed on jcb's bike as that's how he had them.

Still can't get over how much this and the other one pop in the daylight

Way to go mate it must be killing you waiting on the weather although i would just get out on it and curse later but that's just me as i'm so impatient but yes that paint finish is just awesome mate so just enjoy it ;) ..

Well that's the shake down ride done, took it out last night for an around the block ride and ended up doing 20 odd miles on it before I lost the light.
Rides lovely, and the new kits goes with it well :)

A crash hat?
The bike looks, as all your rides, fabulous.
DO NOT RIDE THIS, OR JCB's BIKE, WHEN YOU RIDE WITH ME!
