Question: American Comp Lite aluminium fork options

Hi guys,

I recently acquired an American Comp Lite frame in 19 that has 1” steerer head tube as it’s an early 90s model (I think 91 or 92).

What options do I have regarding aluminium forks since the frame is non suspension corrected?

Otherwise, I am probably fine with any steel fork with 1” threader but I wanted to go aluminium with the fork too.

Great frame! I think a standard steel Tange spinner already looks good on it. I get your dilemma though, you want an awesome match. Maybe get inspired by the German forum? They have a 17 page gallery to browse through.

I was thinking of an early pepperoni 1” but are hard to get by these ones…

Orange did a 1" alu fork as an option for the clockwork/prestige. Would be ideal.

But a Manitou1 would look sweet.

Thanks I will check to see if I can find out an orange one then.

Thé manitou would be ideal too but probably too hard to find and too expensive.
