Project for my niece now rideable

Quick mock up before going to work, excuse the lame seat position...

Oh and the rear wheel is on backwards as I was in a hurry to get a photo as I knew darkness would be upon me once I left work :D

Nearly there

My camera phone seems to be getting worse, I shall use my real camera once it is finished.

I got some 150mm cranks conveniently in 110mm BCD so I can use a choice of 2 chain rings to fine tune the gearing later.

To do:
Shorten bar,
New grips,
Brake cables and outers,
New seatpost 26mm ...
I may recover the saddle but will see how she finds it for comfort first.

I have just been riding this around the block pulling skids, before talking to my neighbour who showed me her 36 inch wheeled unicycle.

To sort:
New seatpost
recover seat in leather once we've found one which is comfortable.

It is quite fun to ride and spin the cranks but is far too small for me to stand and pedal properly.

150mm cranks allow you to spin 'really' fast!

Does anyone happen to have the vectors for any Kona graphics at all?

Have some 1994 ones. They are in Coral Draw Format though.

Also have some illustrator files.

Drop me a PM with your email and i'll send you them. :D

Cheers dude that was awesome.

Though her Dad has rightly pointed out that he does not want her name advertised. Once pointed out to me that made a lot of sense. So I shall be asking her to name the bike and then design the decals in G.I.M.P.

The bike is being dropped off Christmas eve :) So hopefully I shall get a name then.

Decal style poll may follow...
