PROFLEX INFESTATION!

Thanks Ally,

Agreed on the vbrakes functionally they are WAY better. I just dont like how they leave an empty aligner on the fork and an empty hole in the seattube..they come of as an obvious late production run after thought IMO

risse shocks, please elaborate? my small 957's rear noleen has zero damping?

If you call them on the phone they will offer you a discount if you buy multiple shocks. They quoted me $650 for 4 shocks for both bikes..(normally $800 for 4 if bought separately)

On another note my girlfriend has promissed to try and get taller. I am also making her watch this video repeatedly:

bookmarked it :) I see one of the rear shocks will fit my bike. :p Thanks.

I remember when Proflex first was rolled-out in my area. I was mesmerized by it at the bike shop.

Yo 34henry - if you are going Risse, I'd love the opportunity to buy the factory shocks off the 856 for mine... Let me know by pm or aardvarkash10 at yahoo dot co dot nz.

Cheers!

PS - I have the 856 and 857 as well, but in much more used condition and in the purple/blue colourway. Love them both!

Nice bikes but the medium still looks a bit big for someone at 5'6"

Always remember Proflex's being big for their size, 16" more like an 18" etc, even the early ones.

Stop it! You're taking away his excuse to buy another Pro-Flex!!
:D ;)

Hey Rob,

Too late n not getting another one!

Silver 1996 Way Big 856. Totally stock (minus front wheel) down to the tires and melted elastomers. MINT condition other than that..look at that concor saddle..not a mark!

So now I need 6 risse shocks.....although I'll be keeping all the stock parts..sorry Ardvark.

My friend, I've been told that carbon frames shouldn' t be sanded before painting because the carbon could be damaged. How did your painter removed the old painting before applying the white primer.
