Hmm where to start... forks almost certainly too long.
Says he spent £1000 on, well i suppose you could do if you tried really hard and paid full price for everything.

Not sure I've pay £579 for it (tho the modern XTR/XT stuff is probably worth it).

I suppose while I think about it you'd wanna see a flat end cap/'6061'/serial number before parting with the cash (I have a 96 Backwoods that looks like that from that angle !).

It's probably a really nice bike, it's just not very retro.
