After several long rides, I've come to the conclusion my Schwinn Paramount is just too big. My neck still aches 24 hours after a ride! I did 3.5 hours yesterday across local trails and it did a sterling job, no issues at all. The frame is 20.5" C-C on the seat tube with a 23.5" C-C top tube. I reckon someone 6 foot plus would be OK, but since it is collection only, you can try before you buy!

It is pretty tatty, but has some good kit. The wheels have some vertical hop, but are OK for winter mud-plugging. The 1.8 rear tyre has loads of clearance and you can just get stuck in. :) Overall condition is poor / tatty, with corrosion on the parts and some rust on the frame. It was however a range-topping bike with XC Pro - 27 years ago

Yours for £45, which is pretty much what it cost me to build.

Collection from Woking, Surrey.

 It is 'distressed' like the Schwinn!

Maybe I'll spend the money on a Kirk instead..... ;)
