nice, i really like stylish head badges. the compass is a classic trade mans symbol sometimes joiner or mason
or perhaps engineering. At the top of the badge a name i have seen before cicli so me thinks he worked for them
or he owned the firm ?

Cicli is 'cycles' in Italian...
so that would appear on numerous company badges:
Cicli Bianchi, Cicli Doniselli etc

Gita? sorry I don't understand...it's a Pettenella frame built in Vanni's workshop...
The rear dropouts are marked Gita, I assumed that was the manufacturer of the parts...? Do you have any information on this? :)
