Yeah I shared these on Ebay forum and tbh dont know an awful lot about them but other than I've never seen a similar set

They are the last incarnation of the RC41 (and RC40) before Pace stopped making forks and handed it all over to DT Swiss. They were a very limited edition and each individually numbered hence the 179. The standard cast and machined crowns had run out so these were fitted with an anodised machined-from-solid crown. Otherwise, apart from the decals, they used standard RC40/RC41 bits mostly.
Not sure how many were produced, maybe 200 of each or both maybe?

Not for sale any longer then? I keep thinking about the carbon Pace xc forks for one of my clockworks, but these look way better with the crown etc.. like the look of them. More of the old pace look about them. Nice.

I had a pair of the RC40s from that limited edition which I replaced with a standard pair as they had a longer stem I was after and they seemed exactly the same except for the colour scheme.
