Odd saddle (or should that be seat) Q

I've certainly never seen any recommendation from Brooks that their saddles not be used with modern posts.

In fact, here in their "Leather Saddle Care" leaflet, they say:

"... single rail saddles can be used with a micro-adjust seatpin ..."

I guess it depends how far out they are?

When I said "squeeze the rails together" I was thinking of what I had to do with my Brooks Colt, the rails were a few mm's too wide, this is what I did, probably 3Kkm's ago, has caused no problems whatsoever.
