They've clearly been built up before, and it'd take some usage to form those marks. They might look really tidy but for all we know they could be on the verge of fatigue failure. Blatant bullshitting.

For all you know the seller could've laced them into another set of rims and the customer changed their mind. Happens all the time in bike shops, any that I've ever worked in. The final price will tell.
