NORTH OF SCOTLAND RETRO.

I had a cracking weekends riding up at Contin/Dingwall a few years back.

Iain Stuart and Gordymac were the guides - I can't remember the names of what we rode but it included "the Cats Back", the "whale" and a heap of singletrack, some funky bridge over a river and bits of the puffer course which were pretty cut up. We also visited the square wheels shop.

Long and wet day in the saddle but it was brilliant fun.

I'd be happy to return

here's the write up for last saturdays's ride - hopefully more of you might make the next one.

Is Dunkeld still too far south for some of you guys? I know Jamie D is at the top of the world, but what about the rest of you? I would be willing to day trip as far as Aviemore area, and a few of us mentioned a Laggan trip would be possible later in the year.

For those of the Northern territories, some of us may be planning a trip up north and was hoping some of you may join us. Possibly late August and maybe taking in Lagan Golspie and Strathpuffer or whatevers recommended.

Not sure I fancy taking a retro beastie down the Laggan black...

I'm stupid enough to give it a go!!

Really like Laggan and would be more than up for a day there, maybe a weekend combined with Fort Bill/Aviemore?
