New Wheels? Which ones?

hubs

I have tried Extra before but they were struggling to get me spares quickly. I measured up and got 'Inch-Miniature Bearings' to get them in for a decent price. They drop their prices for bulk orders too.
But the thing I'm getting at is, even with new bearings the play is excessive. This makes the identification of a knackered bearing difficult to the amateur. I have seen guys running around on completely shot wheels (especially the ones supplied with new bikes) and they say that they were like that from the off!
Easton will have to change this on their lower range to create some cred.

I've just got some FIR rims in right now and they are quite amazingly light and strong. As are the 'cheapo' Rigida deep section. They seem to build up very well indeed and users are complementing their ride quality. Very few back for their 200ml retrue but it is early days......
