my guess was Trek from the drop out, but I was basing that on a

mtb trek.
Probably why the rest confused me.
It's some 14 yrs later.

Ben now if you had said it was because of some ratio being of particular year or links in the chain id been more impressed with your guess

A 2003 Trek 5200 in full US postal colours with only 40 miles on the clock , There really is not a mark on her to good for the use intended for her :roll:
