I spoke to a frame repair company yesterday and they said powder coating should be fine as it only reaches 200c and bonding will need much higher temps to melt.
Mine is going in for blasting and may risk the powder coating.
What do you think?

That should be OK. All M-Trax and Dyna-Tech's originally has a clear powder topcoat.
