n°6 of 60 : my Specialized S-Works Epic Ultimate

So nice...
A Zoom seatpost is the only one you can fit on that frame.
Light, cheap and a real beauty. What else?
How does it ride?

After many years of looking in these readers bikes forums that is without doubt the best of the best

There are quite a few in here myself included who are a fan of the understated carbon and ali bikes such as these. Nice job sir.

These frames have carbon tubes and titanium lugs.
Exact Ben, carbon and titanium lugs made by Merlin!

What else??? A Nespresso

I didn't really try it on mountain bike... It's nearly 20 years old and a bit afraid of crash it on few stones as we have here... I have other retro bikes for that!!!
But the frame is really stiff laterally, the fork is too flexy for my weight... It's a real race bike... No comparison with a Merlin!

Interesting that they spelt Specialized wrongly on the spec sheet when they listed the tyres.

Specialzied!!
