Thanks ... The groupset is hardly klunker grade though... its better finished than XT ten years later and better than some shite nowadays!

Apologies to me the term is all about the sit up, old skool position and overall look the kit on it looks amazing, this and another thread showing off a Saracan e stay today have me lusting after ever older bikes. damn Retrobike.

Ha ha... yeah the Internet has a lot to answer for ....financially.

Get an old Raleigh Maverick or something and tweak it to look nice ... you can do it for a few quid..
...That was my plan until I saw this iconic Saracen.. Which I've just been out on with a new correct height seatpost and I'm smiling like a loon. ( don't panic the lovely & original seatpost is mothballed in grease)
