some of the kona designers used to frequent a lap dancing bar in vancouver and one of them( i think it was jake but dont quote me.) was obsessed with a certain girl, and a specific part of her anatomy. namely her chocolate starfish, and this is where the splat design came from. this is a true story told by one of the paligap guys.
