That struck me as rather odd, if you can build your own frame, you'd think you would make one that was the right size for you. :p

Great film and really noce to lean that there is so much passion for frame building (even if they are modern rigs).
TR has always struck me as one of the most bdown to earth, modest and genuinely nice guys the industry. Comes over as such in various films (eg Klunkerz) and this film affirms it.

In my opinion, 80% of the skill involved is in the tube fitting and mitering.
Once you know what you're doing with the brazing, it does all happen very quickly.
There's still plenty of opportunity to balls it all up mind, and that focusus the mind knowing how much work you've put into getting those tubes fitted up properly.
That's a lovely little aviation torch that he uses too, which is going to help get nice, flowing joints.
