Hello,

I'm moving country again so getting rid of excess swag. Bought this last year with a view of building it up with a modern Campag groupset but it's not happened...

It's a beautiful vintage Italian Motta frameset that as far as I can tell were made on commission by legendary Vanni Losa of Cinelli from rare Columbus Multishape MS Steel Tubing in lush Cherry Red paint.

Top Tube 55cm C-C
Seat Tube 56 cm C-C
Rear Spacing 130mm
1" threaded Steerer Tube

MS: Multishape was a tube set developed by Columbus in collaboration with Gilco Design; every single tube is shaped differently to optimize functionality and withstand specific stresses as well as unique cast lugs specially developed to fit this tubeset. Producing Multishape tubesets was very expensive, as was making a frame out of them because it took some time fitting all the joints.

Made from Cyclex Steel it is 30grams lighter than a standard slx frame despite the custom cast lugs. It is more classic looking than the more common Columbus Max due to the smaller tube diameter, but retains similar principles in tube profiles orientated to either soften or stiffen the frame at key points.

This frameset is in beautiful used condition and looks very clean for its age, although there are some small chips and marks, and a small amount of chrome lost on the inner chainstay near the dropout, pictured.

Really sad to let this one go but needs must. Looking for £375 posted in UK.
