WD40 is not for oiling or greasing things.

Though I've got some spray grease from Lidl and use it for the pram now
I still use my 1994 finish line grease :D

They said that they used it for both jobs and that was the trend in the trade, because WD40 contains "salt". By which I took them to mean "leaves deposits"???

The GT85 people certainly claim it's a penetrting fluid:
