Monolith - A pearl amongst the stones - what's the verdict?

Piled up with various BSOs and tat....either for sale or waiting repair at my "LBS", this caught my eye. I use LBS in a loose term; as I'm currently abroad and the man-cave is literally on the other side of the planet.

I've seen one restored that looked cool, and while it will be difficult for me to get a project on the go and do any logistics, I'm tempted even though it's not my thing at all.

What does the jury say? Is it worth considerable hassle?

I think you should buy it if the logistics aren't too nightmarish. Looks crazy and something I vaguely remember. Id love a crazy project like that myself, very unique!
