Not the normal fodder on here I know, but I have just finished this 'best of old and new' build, although if I am honest it's all new, just a little retro styled.
The design is retro however, based upon Jim Clark's 1960's Lotus F1 cars.
I would also be interested in finding out a bit more about the frame. NOS, Raleigh M Trax is as far as I have got. I think it is mid 1990's and the frame number is YF00G00204 underneath bottom bracket. 7TD is also stamped there. I think it is double butted 4130 and it is quite light.
The modern running gear is a full Shimano 105 group set complemented by Shimano RS10 wheels.
It is not quite finished, but the first test ride has been done and I was very pleased with how incredibly smooth it felt.
