I also hesitate polishing parts that were originally anodized however the Campy Strada cranks I recently obtained have some scratches that are really bothering me. I'm going to polish them up before spring. The non anodized Campy pedals, hubs, seatpost and front derailleur got a good once over with a dremel tool, buffing pad and polish. I think it would be difficult for anyone to say they are not attractive.
