Mid week baiku

Wednesday night: Drive home from office...temp gauge in Vectra read 2.5 deg c...road sparkling...change and put many layers on...new batteries in light and get Avalanche out...SPESHMIKE arrives and we hit the trails...grass crunches as we speed along...puddles crack as we ride over not through them...into the woods...flying tonight...through the stream and up the climb...quick blast down the road...road slippy as ice...onto the farm track...SPESHIKE rides into a puddle that cracks and swallows his FSR...something large runs accross the field...slight brown trouser moment...up the field track...mud not frozen so very sticky...on the road again...SPESHMIKE peels off home...I spin on the road for a couple of miles...arrive home steaming...hit the shower...ahhhh warmth...coldest ride of my life
