Built by Merlin UK (Lancashire) in the mid to late 90s


Custom made one off frame using super rare strengthen Tange MTB spiral or sometimes called gun barrel tubing on the seat tube, top tube and down tube.


Freshly powder coated in a lovely gloss metallic silver. (Decals/stickers aren’t the correct ones, but the only ones available at the time of building this bike) The merlin logo is more like the mythical medieval style font. (Search via google for reference)


This bike has been built by myself to high standard using new and used quality parts to make the built tough go anywhere touring or commuter bike.

Saddle tip to handlebars 53cm


Wheelset - brand new Shimano hubs with black rims with new continental 26 x 1.75”tan wall tyres


Brakes - Dia Compe levers with shimano cantilever brakes (XT pads) with brake booster (improves braking force)


Crank - Sugino 175mm triple with suntour power rings with flat pedals with sealed bearing bottom bracket


Gearing - Suntour 3x7 with thumb shifters


Shimano 7 speed cassette


Ritchey vector saddle with black seatpost


Sim works handlebars with sweep back and 71cm wide with foam lock on grips and ritchey stem


FSA sealed bearing headset


Pannier rack and Brand new black panniers with lots of space and pockets


Chrome/stainless full length mudguards (high quality)


Overall this is great bike, ready to ride away and tour for miles or on your daily commute
