You only pay VAT on the buyers premium.
The screen shot is from easy live. That registration thing is two ways of buying/premiums - a flat fee way and a %method. (It includes easy lives fee plus VAT). Depends on how much you’re buying as to what works out better.

It’s a while since I bought via Easylive but I usually go with the % fee as I never intend to spend enough for the flat fee to be cheaper! I usually think of 25% on top of the hammer price as it’s easy to work that out while I’m bidding.

I’ve had some great buys from traditional auctions which is why I always post stuff up here I think could be of interest to others - it’s part of my morning coffee routine.

Last used Speedhub on eBay went for about £500 on its own. I can’t see that whole bike making that much even with fees. That said there has been the odd time 2 people have both known what they are looking at and the prices have taken off.
