A photo from my yesterday trip London-Eastbourne. Really nice. It was quite cloudy and there was a bit of sprinkle from time to time (I won't complain after previous week sunburn during Peugeot ride to Southend), but by the time I reached the Eastbourne the clouds have gone there was clear sky and a lot of sun. I had some problems with navigation as my phone refused to follow the route, so I made more road than I should, in total I think about 110-120 km. I started about 8.30am and reached Eastbourne about 2.00pm.
I changed the saddle for my contemporary honey Brooks Swallow that I find most comfortable to ride and I think it goes well with the rest.
Except of small problems with gears sometimes not changing properly everything else went very well. That was my first longer ride on tubulars and I was a little bit worried of having a puncture, but luckily It didn't happen.

Reading the frame number it could be or 1960 or 1974, I can't really tell.

Anyway I rebuilt it recently for Eroica Britannia for my lady. So handlebar and stem changed for Cinelli 1A and Criterium handlebar wrapped in white leather with red stitching. Brakes changed for Universal 125, white cables, gears for Huret Jubilee with Simplex retrofriction shifters. Freewheel changed for contemporary high quality (hmm... advertised as high quality) IRD 5 speed, but I'm not particularly happy with it, straight out of the box it was very stiff. When coasting it was pulling the chain slowly. Finish is not so smooth and what was annoying the most that I think that IRD makes 5 speed and 6 speed frewheels on the same body so it's quite wide and I had to redish the wheel a few mm, because smallest cog was rubbing stays.). Contemporary 8 speed chain. White Brooks Swallow. Wheels, chainset and bottom bracket the same.

Classy looking machine, seat stays joining the rear dropouts so thin and ending in a point, graceful fork curve and lack of braze ons puts this likely smack in my era :)
