Looking for a replacement fork brace to swap out the current one that uses the "rocker" style cable straddle device, as i need a cable stop for my coil/spring straddle for use with CT brakes. :( anyone got a spare?

You want the fork brace from the XC500?

pm sent ;)

Oryginal oil is 20W, I'm using 15W as well but 7,5W will be def not good

This tool helps to remove plug - I'm just exhale air form fork, pushing the plug a bit into the stanchion, then removing cotter and pump the fork very carefully - presure will remove the plug, but You have to do it carefully!

you weren't kidding when you said "CAREFULLY"!!!

popped them up like a cork out of a champagne bottle. startled me right good! first one out i could have easily hit myself in the face and hurt me quite badly. :?

thanks!

The same setup is used on the bombers with the valves at the top. My 2001 air lite or some name like that. Just machined to a larger diameter.
