:D well chuffed, finally an upper-end marin that didnt cost a fortune!
off the bay' recently i was delighted to see an almost original rigout
with some minor exceptions(bottle cage,seat)
the 21 speed running gear is sweet and all deore dx,lx cantis and hubs.
rims running true aswell!,mavic 231.ritchey z max tyres and logic headset.
frame needs a good polish and decals a tad scruffy but thats nowt.
so far its a good overhaul and a new sealed bb(some movement).

i will post up later in time when its had some tlc.
thanks for looking. :)

Was that the one from Burnley Marc? If so you snapped that up quickly as by the time I'd told my friend it was on it had gone! Looks like a good 'un.

Marin rocky ridge

yes, burnley it was!! deep into fred dibnah country.looked as though
there should be some good trails up there.
not toofar from leeds though,i was torn to bits about the purchase
but finally talked myself into it.the motgage lender will understand
in general quite cheap at a ton(100 bucks) the spec is the parts we look high and low for,but all in one package!
middle chainring toasted? no! its all good -cassette reasonable.only
negative is the marin lite pedals need rebuilding,if possible,or
binning.
sorry for late reply and nuff respec for positive comments :)

marc.

burnley hey!thats where i was born and lived in a town near it called todmorden before i moved here.and yes it is very good mountain bike terrain out there.

Marin rocky ridge

small world init! ive never seen so many dry-stone-walls.
i came back through..nelson,then followed signs for keighley...bradford..leeds.as m65 down to accrington had some roadworks
causing a colossal tailback.
problem now is ive got that new purchase syndrome where you cant leave it alone.knowing im dressed in my good clothes im 'quickly' checking this and that even though ive got stacks of time in the week.better find that swarfega!
know what i mean?.
