The Marins went as the couldn't drill the pivot holes straight in the chain stay! Mine was laughable... it had less than 1mm of ally on one side of the pivot hole!

That's what I've learnt! The Manitous were built to a better tolerance than the Marin's ! You can certainly see the extra quality when comparing them side by side :shock:

A few interested parties but no firm offers as yet. If anyone has or has a friend who has a Marin team ti hard tail in '92-'93 flavour and 17.5" and would interested in a deal give me a shout! Only these frames/bikes though please!
