Waaay back when, I was in a Toyota Supra Owners club and people used to lend out a big tool for holding the crankshaft while undoing the big pulley nut. It was a bit "white bicycle" and got passed on until being reunited with its owner.

Would such a concept and spirwit of bon-homie exist here perchance, and some kind soul might lend me aforementioned Helicomatic tool, so I can release the freewheel before demolishing a wheel?
Obviously, I would pay for postage and then return it in pristine condition, obeying the unwritten rules of tool-lending.

Aye but if I want to sell a hub for hopefully £30, punting a score on a one use Bruce is not financially viable.

Bruce ; Bruce Banner - spanner

Someone else said that. I shall apply light pressure with a plumbers tap wrench, soft and smoothed jawed.
The wrench, not the plumber.
