Magura Adjustments

Am I right in thinking that there's no toe adjustment on Maguras?

I'm trying to fettle some on a 1991 Saracen Trekker Hydrotech. Pad wear is uneven to say the least from a toe point of view.

It's been that long since I owned a set, I just can't remember how to get the pad parallel to the rim!

Are pads still available for them?

Cheers,

Neil.

Yes there is, the "spherical" washers allow alignment in all directions.
And yes, pads are still readily available, they still sell the brakes new!

Thanks Foz.

I can’t see any spherical washers. Sure I’m missing something here:

Loosen the top bolt (nearest the piston) there should be a plastic collar around the piston body that can be moved and then seats back in the clamp. This is how to toe them in/out. Bit of a faff, but when sorted they are unstoppable.

No toe adjustment. The pads affix to a ball that would prevent it from holding the angle. Magura has some good Youtube tutorials on how to align the calipers.

I said washers, collar is a better description! As said, loosen the bolts and you will be able to adjust the whole slave piston within the mount. If it doesn't move easily, take completely apart, clean, and put back together.
