do you think the motor has enough go to move itself and weight?
I have been wondering about mounting something to the ceiling to allow the easy transportation of beers/tea to and from the kitchen.
However this hinges on having a suitable 'lackey' in the kitchen to place said beverage in the cradle, or devising some form of 'claw' to do it for you.

I think it probably could, but not without some tweaking. Also, not sure the housemate would be a willing lackey, for shame :cry:
