Refresh my memory if you will, how do you choose between a short or long RD?

Depends how many teeth you have Rob, in your case none of your own. So I'd go short cage if I were you ;)

Also rob it’s important to keep them clean, so you’ll probably be needing these also

Re:

Today I was in my wee flat in Loanhead Midlothian and that was where I stayed. Three inches of snow fell in 8 hours
In Edinburgh only 5 miles away my better half mentioned sleet but no snow.
Went out on a bike for a bit but its the wet stuff that sticks to everything and causes you to skite everywhere, nae fun. Hope it melts away fast as I cant be bothered digging the car out

Re:

Might be a Bulb for a 20mm axle. http://www.hopetech.com/wp-content/uplo ... b20Exp.pdf

or it might be a Bulb QR http://www.hopetech.com/wp-content/uplo ... ploded.pdf

Can't see all of the black endcap to be sure. Have a looksee here, http://www.hopetech.com/product-documents/hubs/

Edit to say I've just had another look at piccie above and it appears the 2 end caps are there back to back so it's more likely the 20mm hub. The circlips to hold in the caps are not there though unless you've got them through yer earlobes Rob.

Re:

You are indeed correct, what I'm trying to find out is can it accept a 15mm axle adapter
and if so which one do I purchase given the number of hubs Hope have put out.

Re:

I may be wrong here, but didn't the changeable end caps/adapter thing start with the Pro2 hubs?
I'm pretty sure the xc hubs and earlier were "un-adapter-able"? :?

We've a couple of Hope hub aficionados on here though, so I'm sure they'll know for sure.

Re:

Can't say for sure what hub it is, but can definitely say you won't get a 15mm conversion for it. Way too early.
Are the spoke flanges different sizes? Bulb had a bigger disk side flange, XC hubs were both the same size.
