M-Trax Duo Tech 300 17 inch £85

Bought last year with the idea of giving it a new coat of paint and a fresh set of decals but the plan never came to fruition. Have instead been using it as a speedy runabout during lockdown but I've now finished a Kona project so this will have to go so I can claw back a bit of cash.

Can't find much info on the web about these ti/cromo M-Trax's but I think the top tube and down tube are titanium. Let me know if I'm wrong though*. Don't think there's much original left on it. Dia Compe 973 cantis, DX thumbies, Exage hubs, Deore rear mech and cranks (presumably not original?). Looks like a new BB added at some point in the past few years. Lots of scuffs and scratches but no cracks or dents and nothing is stuck. Seat tube scratches the seatpost if adjusted so would need a bit of sanding. I sprayed the seatpost last year as a patch up job to hide the scratches.

17" frame. £85 and collection from SW London. Send me a PM with an email address for more pics. I'm a newbie so can't reply to PMs.

*I'd just left the womb in the early 90s so can't speak from experience. I just love the skinny tubes, fat tyres and attention to detail on the 90s MTBs.

That's a bargain for someone. Worth it just for the deore/dx kit.
And nice bike too, bet you enjoyed it over the years

Lovely ride, although I can't claim to have had it from new. Picked it up on marketplace last summer. Hoping to pass it on to a local retrobiker who'll keep it in one piece.
