Been after a 93 Cindercone for the past few years but always got outbid or was miles and miles away so I took the plunge and made an offer,its not as bad as i thought it would be,phew well i say that the seatpost might be a nightmare
But as a bonus i'm pretty sure the bars are X-Lite titanium ones

Good buy, great frame.

Doesn't look like the seat tube is stretched so maybe a stuck post and quick fix by knocking a smaller post into it, good luck

Yeah the seat tube looks fine, i'm probably gonna respray the frame in the long run so if i have to use heat or caustic soda etc to get both them out its not a problem damaging the paint.

Just been googling about the xlite bars and i'm pretty sure they're the 540 Pro titanium ones.
The first photo is some off the net and if you look at the ones on the bike the faded lettering matches up, plus they measure at 540 length. It was the colour difference between the stem and bars what caught my eye and made me think they have to be titanium which was part of the reason i took the plunge and made them an offer on the bike. Who doesn't love titanium bars

Thought i'd dig lazarus the Lavadome out of hibernation to get a photo of them together, don't ask what happened to the seat tube alcohol was involved
This is the first time Lazarus has appeared on Retrobike so be nice
